Shamidkhan Magomedov knocks out Alfonso Leyva to defend his title at LFA 194

NIAGARA FALLS, NEW YORK — The LFA kicked off the final quarter of its 2024 schedule on the USA-Canada international border in Niagara Falls with a Championship Headliner at LFA 194. In the main event, LFA interim welterweight champion Shamidkhan Magomedov defeated two-time Oympic wrestler Alfonso “Sniper” Leyva via KO after dropping the Mexican challenger twice with crisp boxing and punching power at 1:17 of Round 1. The win was the Russian champion’s first LFA title defense. In the co-main event, top Uzbek prospect Mirafzal “Mirko” Akhtamov remained undefeated after submitting Scottie Stockman with a Guillotine Choke at 0:53 of Round 1.
