Natasha Kuziutina defeats Yasmin Guimarães in her second title defense at LFA 197

CAJAMAR, São Paulo, Brazil — In the Greater São Paulo Metro Area, the LFA capped its 2024 international schedule with the second title defense of a three-time Olympian and LFA champion Natasha “Kuzya” Kuziutina. In the main event, LFA interim women’s strawweight champion Kuziutina returned to the country where she won an Olympic bronze medal in 2016 to face Muay Thai standout standout Yasmin Guimarães. The LFA’s first Russian female champion controlled her Brazilian opponent Guimarães, who had the home crowd showing their support. In the end, the judges awarded Kuziutina the Unanimous Decision with scores that read 47-45, 49-43, 48-45. In the co-main event, the vaunted power of knockout artist Márcio “Ticotô” Barbosa was on full display as he made quick work of fellow Brazilian prospect Felipe “Selvagem” Oliveira. Barbosa officially put an end to things via TKO (Uppercut and Ground Strikes) at 2:54 of Round 1. The other fight results can be found below:

About GINÁSIO DO POLVILHO:
The Municipality of Cajamar, through the Department of Public Works and Services, coordinated the complete renovation of the entire structure of the Polvilho Gym.
