LAS VEGAS, Nevada — LFA President Sven Bean announced today that the LFA has entered into event production agreements for three events in the month of March 2024.
“The LFA team will stay busy as we return to two great markets and debut at another in March to produce events.” said Bean, who is responsible for venue booking and scheduling for the LFA.
“We will kick things off with a return to Santa Cruz, California and Kaiser Permanente Arena on Friday March 8th. ” stated Bean.
“Our first event there last summer was amazing. The region is known for having a long history in combat sports, and the market fanbase did not disappoint. A sold out crowd was treated to an action packed card from bell to bell. I’m excited to get back to “Surf City” and work with the in house team on another stand out event,” stated Bean.
Santa Cruz Warriors Chief Operating Officer David Kao added:
“We hosted the LFA back in August and the crowd inside the sold-out Kaiser Permanente Arena saw an evening of top-level mixed martial arts competition. It was an unforgettable event that we’re very thrilled to bring back in March. The LFA has quickly become the top developmental organization in the world in terms of MMA promotions. The developmental blueprints between LFA and the G League have many similar concepts that make bringing this event to Kaiser Permanente Arena a natural fit. The energy was electrifying at the last event, and we look forward to doing it again in a few months!”

LFA 179 will be broadcast live at a special time on Saturday March 23rd at 1PM PST/4PM EST on UFC FIGHT PASS
“We will then close out the month of March in a new market for the LFA, as we head to Louisville, Kentucky for an event in Broadbent Arena at the Kentucky Exposition Center.” continued Bean.

Last year we debuted in the state of Kentucky down the road in Owensboro, which was a great event. I’m excited to now head to the biggest city in the state and put on a world class show for the fans.
