HAMMOND, Indiana — On Thursday, June 6th, LFA hosted the weigh-in for LFA 185: Gennrich vs. Lewis from the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Hammond, Indiana. Hammond is part of the Chicago metropolitan area and is the only city in Indiana to border Chicago. The main event will feature a Championship Doubleheader. In the main event, LFA lightweight champion Kegan “Machine Gun” Kegan Gennrich (8-2) defends his title against top undefeated contender Richie “Savage” Lewis (5-0). In the co-main event, LFA interim women’s strawweight champion Natasha “Kuzya” Kuziutina (5-1) defends her title against former Bellator star Bruna Ellen (7-4).
LFA 185 will feature veteran MMA commentator Ron Kruck, who will be joined in the booth with former UFC star, RFA great, and UFC on ESPN analyst Alan “Brahma” Jouban. The Brazilian-Portuguese commentary team will consist of former PRIDE FC star and BJJ world champion Allan Góes and Brazilian MMA analyst Max Soares. They will call the action live inside the Horseshoe Hammond Casino in Hammond, Indiana. The main card will be available tomorrow night LIVE on UFC FIGHT PASS® at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.

Every fighter, except Jose Ferreira and Cauatã Samuel, made their contracted weight when they stepped on the scales. Ferreira and Samuel will now forfeit a portion of their purses to their opponents. LFA 185 will proceed with eleven bouts, which includes the Championship Doubleheader at the top of the card.
