Cajamar, São Paulo, Brazil — In the first international LFA event of 2024, LFA light-heavyweight champion Bruno “Brunão” Lopes submitted top contender Marcos “Ironside” Brigagão via Arm-Triangle Choke at 4:58 of Round 2. The win makes Lopes the first of seven LFA light-heavyweight champions to successfully defend his title. In the co-main event, Samuel “Caveira” Silva defeated Anderson “Buzika” Ferreira in a battle of top prospects that were recently nominated for LFA Fans’ Choice Awards: Fight of the Year. The Municipality of Cajamar, through the Department of Public Works and Services, coordinated the complete renovation of the entire structure of the Polvilho Gym.
