EL PASO, Texas — On Thursday, August 3rd, LFA hosted the weigh-in for LFA 164: Mazo vs. Lavado from The Plaza Hotel Pioneer Park in El Paso, Texas.
The main event will feature a Women’s Flyweight World Title Fight between former LFA women’s flyweight champion Sabina “Colombian Queen” Mazo (9-4) and Dana White’s Contender Series alumna Sandra “Peruvian Zombie” Lavado (12-4).
LFA 164 will feature veteran MMA commentator Dave Farra, who will be joined in the booth by top-ranked UFC star and TUF 15 champion Michael “Maverick” Chiesa. The Brazilian-Portuguese commentary will be provided by Brazilian MMA analyst Max Soares. They will call the action live from the award-winning outdoor Southwest University Park in downtown El Paso, Texas. The main card will be available tomorrow night LIVE on UFC FIGHT PASS® at 11 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. PT.

Every fighter, except Lerryan Douglas, made their contracted weight when they stepped on the scales. Douglas will now forfeit a portion of his purse to his opponent Isaac Thomson. LFA 164 will proceed with ten bouts, which includes the Women’s Flyweight Championship at the top of the card.
