Cajamar, São Paulo, Brazil — On Friday, July 6th, LFA hosted the weigh-in for LFA 162: Conceição vs. Lopes from the Blue Tree Premium Alphaville in Barueri, São Paulo, Brazil. In the main event, the interim women’s strawweight title will be on the line between top contenders Rose Conceição (6-0) and Elaine Lopes (6-1).
LFA 162 will feature veteran MMA commentator Ron Kruck, who will be joined in the booth by Brazilian MMA analyst Max Soares. The Brazilian-Portuguese commentary team will consist of Brazilian media personality Tiago Pamplona, who will work alongside Bellator star and former LFA title challenger Jonas Bilharinho. They will call the action live inside the Ginásio do Polvilho in Cajamar, São Paulo, Brazil. The main card will be available tomorrow night LIVE on UFC FIGHT PASS® at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.
Every fighter except André Lima made their contracted weight when they stepped on the scale. Lima will now forfeit a portion of his purse to his opponent Igor Taylon. LFA 162 will proceed with thirteen bouts, which includes the interim women’s strawweight championship at the top of the card.
