CHANDLER, Arizona — On Thursday, May 18th, LFA hosted the weigh-in for LFA 158: Lebosnoyani vs. Jones from the Gila River Resorts & Casinos – Wild Horse Pass in Chandler, Arizona. The main event will feature a lightweight title fight between BJJ black belt Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani (5-1) and 3x NCAA All-American wrestler JaCobi “Big Toe” Jones (5-1).
LFA 158 will feature veteran MMA commentator Ron Kruck, who will be joined in the booth by former UFC star and Strikeforce champion Gilbert “El Niño” Melendez. The Brazilian-Portuguese commentary team will consist of iconic Brazilian media personality Jorge “Joinha” Guimarães and Brazilian MMA analyst Max Soares.
The action will be called live inside the Gila River Resorts & Casinos – Wild Horse Pass in Chandler, Arizona. Tickets for the event are completely sold out.
The main card will be available tomorrow night LIVE on UFC FIGHT PASS® at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT.
Every fighter, except Eric McConico and Joe Stafford, made their contracted weight when they stepped on the scales. McConico and Stafford will now forfeit a portion of their purses to their opponents Kevem Felipe and Chance Ikei respectively. LFA 158 will proceed with thirteen bouts, which includes the lightweight championship at the top of the card.
