Prior Lake, MN —On Thursday, January 12th, LFA hosted the weigh-in for LFA 150: Farias vs. Sweeney from the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, Minnesota. The main event will feature a high-stakes bantamweight showdown between seven-time BJJ world champion Ary “AstroBoy” Farias (12-3) and Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson protégé John “Hollywood” Sweeney (11-3).
LFA 150 will feature veteran MMA commentator Ron Kruck, who will be joined in the booth with former UFC star, RFA great, and UFC on ESPN analyst Alan “Brahma” Jouban. They will call the action live inside the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, Minnesota. The main card will be available tomorrow night LIVE on UFC FIGHT PASS® at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.
Every fighter, except Ganbat Bayasgalan, made their contracted weight when they stepped on the scales. Bayasgalan will now forfeit a portion of his purse to his opponent Adamu Isah. LFA 150 will proceed with seventeen bouts, which includes the bantamweight showdown in the main event.
