NIAGARA FALLS, NEW YORK — On Thursday, February 20th, LFA hosted the weigh-in for LFA 202: Nkuta vs. Garcia from the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino in Niagara Falls, New York. The top of the card will feature a high-stakes Flyweight Showdown. In the Main Event, top prospects “Turbo” Phumi Nkuta (8-0) and “The Elusive” Adrian Garcia (8-2-1) will square off on an international border.
LFA 202, presented by Monster Energy, will feature veteran MMA commentator Dave Farra, who will be joined in the booth by former UFC star and Strikeforce champion Gilbert “El Niño” Melendez. The Brazilian-Portuguese commentary team will consist of Brazilian media personality Tiago Pamplona, who will work alongside UFC commentator Roman Laurito. They will call the action live inside the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino in Niagara Falls, New York. The main card will be available tomorrow night LIVE on UFC FIGHT PASS® at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.
Everyone except Phumi Nkuta and Sierra Dinwoodie made weight when they stepped on the scale. Nkuta and Dinwoodie will pay a penalty to their opponents. LFA 202 will proceed with nine bouts, which includes the Flyweight Showdown at the top of the card.
