Erick Visconde lands a spinning elbow to knockout Ary Farias at LFA 199

LEMOORE, California — LFA kicked off its 2025 schedule with its debut event at the iconic Tachi Palace Casino Resort in Central California. In the main event, two fighters who have fought for the promotion on multiple continents faced each other for the first time. 7x Jiu-Jitsu world champion Ary Farias got off to a good start in the first round by taking the back of Erick Visconde, who is also a black belt in Jiu-Jitsu. However, the tides turned quickly and violently in the second stanza when Visconde landed a brutal Spinning Elbow that left Farias unconscious at 1:08 of Round 2. In the co-main event, local legend and former San Francisco 49ers fullback Josh “The Incredible Hok” Hokit extended his perfect record in MMA. The 2x Division I All-American wrestler and football standout from Fresno State took the back of fellow former collegiate wrestling standout John Lopez midway through the opening frame and pounded him out to earn the TKO at 2:53 of Round 1. The other fight results can be found below:
